Greetings Fellow Artists,

One of the most amazing aspects of WordPress is the sense of community that it inherently creates.  Individuals all over the world gathered in one place sharing their hearts, their art, and their souls.  I don’t think it gets much better than that, my friends.

wePoets is a place where a passion for community is being bred and nurtured.  The entire formation of this blog was created with YOU (the artist) in mind.  So many talented souls are spread out through the vast hallways of the blogsphere.  Why not intentionally create a home-like environment where artists from all walks of life and all kinds of talent could gather together?

An Aside… psst!

While browsing through the Reader, I came across some group poetry venues. The more the merrier, feel free to check it out.

Here’s a Magnetic Poetry Challenge that appears to happen on Tuesdays at Soup Blog, where there are lots of other writing resources too.

And for those who do not have magnets with words stuck on the fridge, here is a cool site that has “magnets” for you to move around on your screen. Have fun!

Thanks to all our party guests!

We really enjoyed your company, and hope you enjoyed the opening night celebration! Today will be business as usual, and we have opened the front door for you to come on in and make yourself at home.  Join in with a bit of group Flash Fiction, or TwitterPoetry, Colouring, or make up a game of your own to share!  We will be here to reply to comments and questions and take part in the fun.

Suggestions are welcome, too… and I will set up a page for you to drop a comment or a link.  Keep an eye on the menu tabs at the top of the blog. I will be adding more today.

A Sticky Welcome

(*** Thank you all for visiting! The celebrations are over, and we are sweeping the floors and picking up the last of the party debris, stacking dishes and squeezing the last of the leftovers into our cute little fridge.***)
